Lust

(Playing devil's advocate here!)

Lust is the vigour and the vitality in us. There is no picture as invigorating as two bodies entwined in naked embrace in the most engaged contact. The gross is so engrossing, so titillating, so satisfying! It must be lust for which makes the spirit crave a body.

How could one withstand lust when it takes hold of one's heart: one may love it, hate it, but cannot neglect it. This body love is native to our instinct, drawing ready sustenance from our mind and body. It springs from deep within like a coiled spring banishing every other thought from the mental horizon. When it reigns, it reigns supreme.

Strange this wonderful human capacity has been associated with meanings ungodly. Due to our lopsided understanding of it, lust invariably follows atonement. This has created a race of crippled spirits low on self-esteem. We fritter away our emotional energy in doling out morality from a titled balance of conscience. A mental incontinence holds us back all the time. The concerns of the world beyond have disconcerted us. And, we glorify this emotional decrepitude.

Don't lose this living energy to purposeless restrain. It would be an emotional undoing. Lust is the inconspicuous sinew of love. It pins love to the real world, otherwise love is too impersonal for any particular fondness. Lust fosters fidelity. Love is an infidel; it doesn't recognise a face, it doesn't recognise touch. For love, those bedroom cuddles are insipid. The impassioned groans and the seductive smacks hold no charm for it.

Pleasure is not to run away from pleasure. Pleasure is to wallow in it. To let every pore soak in it until it  pulsates in every cell and quickens itself to the bodiless ease. Allow yourself this indulgence. It makes for a healthy psyche. For only after the gush is the acceptance; a cross over. The fact that you are a source of pleasure is a great assurance and capacity.

I agree that it has been associated with meanings ungodly. However, it has not been refused as well. It is just that, it should not be uncontrolled, to keep meaning to life and humanity and keep human being in control, we have been asked to obey some rules. And I agree to these.
Love is such a wonderful feeling. It is prettiest and precious of all. It brings two hearts (not bodies, only) closer to each other, that they become one. It gives a special feeling that, there is one, to whom you give the right to do things that nobody can do. That specialness is unique and to be preserved. I can not give this right to anybody and all. Its like you have only one HOME. Not every house is your home and can not be.
Enjoy the specialness, enjoy the love. But stay away from going out of your control. Because this is one unique desire that does not decrease or fade if enjoyed again and again. However, takes you deep into the flesh. That is the reason why self constraint is required.
Thanks!

Dear friend,
What I pointed out is the idealism we seek in all things we take to. We tell ourselves that lust is a base emotion that has to be done away it, which isn't possible. So, we deify it as love and this consoles us. What we tell ourselves is a lie and perpetuate it. Why does lust need the support of love? It could be in the interest of humanity but not an actuality. I wanted to accord lust its due. The feeling is indeed blissful but the vehicle through which it manifest doesn't approve of it wholeheartedly and we are the vehicle. This reluctance is not without its effects. Half of the humanity is torn in reconciling this so called ungodly passion with divine love.
